True Nature Of Islam

What is the definition of Islam? Or the description? What does Sura Five say about these questions? The defintion of Islam is part of verse 3 of Sura 5:..."This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favour unto you, and have chosen for you as religion al-Islam." It ocurs right in the middle of a whole lot of instructions on food; not in the middle of some heavy divine inspiration nor as a conclusion to some divine discourse. It is obvious that food mattered a lot to the fabricators of Al-Quran and thus is a major feature of Islam. Food is also available after death.
