124,000 prophets sent by Allah is utter nonsence

The quran states that to every people was sent messengers and apostles and prophets. It is said that 124,000 in all were sent. This is an unbelievable number. For it means that before Muhammad, who is called the last prophet, there were 124,000 people groups in the world, speaking 124,000 different languages, practicing 124,000 different cultures and traditions.Today there is a much greater population on earth  than 1400 years ago and yet not enough people groups  to even come close to that number. How can one believe such illogical nonsense? Islam is empty deceit, not a religion. Proof texts follow:     Sura 4:163. Question- why do I use the biblical scriptures to answer instead of my own judgments? Answer-  For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Islam the only religion?

This religion is filled full of contradictions, untrustworthy statements and outright lies. Is He then Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who himself does not go aright unless he is guided? Muhammad was lying when he announced himself as one who could neither read nor write. The covenant he wrote proves that he was untrustworthy. Definitely not a prophet. Sura 2 I am Allah, the best Knower Commentary The original words are alif, lam, mlm. Translations of the Holy Qur-an generally leave abbreviations, like the one occurring here, untranslated. The combinations of letters or single letters occurring at the commencement of several chapters of the Holy Qur-an, 29 in all, are called ... simply muqatta'at , and according to the best received opinion these letters are abbreviations standing for words. ....
