God's truth can not be hid
Surah 10
35 Say: Is there any of your associates who guides to the truth? Say: Allah guides to the truth. Is He then Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he
who himself does not go aright unless he is guided? What then is the matter with you : how do you judge?
36 And most of them do not follow (anything) but conjecture; surely conjecture will not avail aught against the truth; surely Allah is cognizant of what they do.
37 And this Qur-an is not such as could be forged by those besides Allah, but it is a verification of that which is before it and a clear explanation of the book, there is no doubt in it, from the Lord of the worlds.
38 Or do they say: He has forged it? Say: Then bring a chapter like this and invite whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful.
39 Nay: they reject that of which they have no comprehensive knowledge, and the final sequel of it has not yet come to them; even thus did those before them reject (the truth); see then what was the end of the unjust.
Muhammad Ali's Commentary
The Quran explains in clear words many of the most important principles of religion which are left ambiguous or obscure in the previous books. For instance, the Bible is obscure on the important principle of resurrection or life after death; Jesus himself when questioned by the Sadducees had to resort to an argument instead of quoting chapter and verse (Matt. 22:23, etc.). Similarly, the attributes of the Divine Being are not explained in clear words, and the result is the doctrine of the Divinity of Jesus Christ. The Qur-an fully explains all such points and finally settles all these questions.
And further the Quran states
Surah 10
94 But if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book before you; certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the disputers.
95 And you should not be of those who reject the communications of Allah, (for) then you should be one of the losers.
Muhammad Ali's Commentary
It should be noted that the person addressed in the Holy Quran is not always the Holy Prophet, though the form may be singular, as here. It is very often the reader. Nor does the form revealed to you (literally thee) show that the Prophet is meant, for the Holy Quran is in many places spoken of as being revealed to all the people, as, for instance, in what has been revealed to us (2:136), and in “ We have revealed to you a Book ” (21:10). And the opening words of the next section make it clear that the reader is addressed, because there we have. “Say, 0 people if you are in doubt as to my religion.” Throughout the Holy Quran the Holy Prophet appears as having the greatest certainty about the word which was revealed to him, so much so that he never entertained the slightest doubt about the truth of the promises of future success and triumph when to the material eye there appeared nothing around but failure and disappointment.
[104 Say : O people ! if you are in doubt as to my religion, then (know that) I do not serve those whom you serve besides Allah, but I do serve Allah, Who will cause you to die, and I am commanded that I should be of the believers.]
Observation
I must say that the God's truth can not be hid! Muhammad Ali's commentaries do not just contradict but also makes apparent the contradictions in the quranic text. If the Quran is a verification of the biblical scriptures, then Muslims need to believe the biblical text that follows:
John 14
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
