Introduction
Muhammad says a lot in Al-Quran. That it is the last revelation of Allah via him to mankind. He maintains that Al-Quran is a confirmation of the earlier biblical scriptures, implying that Al-Quran has just as much authority as the Bible. This book investigates the truth of the matter regarding Jesus.
This is an ordinary face value exegesis. To begin, a few quranic verses will be quoted to serve as definitive statements relative to Allah, relative to Al-quran and to language; and a necessary refutation of unfounded and misleading islamic interpretation regarding one particular quranic verse and its supposedly justifiable biblical cross reference.
1 About Allah
(255) God! there is no God but he; the living, the self-subsisting: neither slumber nor sleep seizeth him; to him belongeth whatsoever is in heaven, and on earth. Who is he that can intercede with him, but through his good pleasure? He knoweth that which is past, and that which is to come unto them, and they shall not comprehend anything of his knowledge, but so far as he pleaseth. His throne is extended over heaven and earth, and the preservation of both is no burden unto him. He is the high, the mighty.
2 About Al-quran
(2) There is no doubt in this book; it is a direction to the pious.
IN THE NAME OF THE MOST MERCIFUL GOD.
(1) A. L. M. The revelation of this book, there is no doubt thereof, is from the Lord of all creatures. (2) Will they say, Muhammad hath forged it? Nay, it is the truth from thy Lord, that thou mayest preach to a people unto whom no preacher hath come before thee; peradventure they will be directed.
(28) Now have we proposed unto mankind, in this Qurán, every kind of parable, that they may be warned; (29) an Arabic Qurán, wherein there is no crookedness; that they may fear God
3 About Language
IN THE NAME OF THE MOST MERCIFUL GOD.
(1) A. L. R. This book have we sent down unto thee, that thou mayest lead men forth from darkness into light, by the permission of their Lord, into the glorious and laudable way.
(4) We have sent no apostle but with the language of his people, that he might declare their duty plainly unto them; for God causeth to err whom he pleaseth, and directeth whom he pleaseth; and he is the mighty, the wise.
Face Value Exegesis
According to the above verses, Allah reigned in absolute sovereignty over the entire cosmic web and beyond over the previous past, and reigns likewise presently and will do so identically as the future unfolds. Therefore a study mindful of the chronological order of history, global or cosmic, is unnecessary nor appropriate. The past, the present and the future is just one whole picture. No doubt in Al-quran, or crookedness nor is translation of the Arabic Al-quran to any other language a problem. Allah is the founder of all the languages of the universe. Therefore an elementary exegetical examination of the Arabic Al-quran in its English translation is justified.
The first observation is that Allah refers to itself as ‘We’. Definitely not singular. To explain ‘We’ as signifying divine majesty, as some islamic scholars have, is to completely ignore what the rest of Al-quran states relative to the absolute singularity of Allah.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali, on S2(38) We said: "Get ye down all from here; and if, as is sure, there comes to you guidance from Me, whosoever follows My guidance on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
Ali’s Commentary
Quote: C56. Note the transition from the plural "We" at the beginning of the verse to the singular "Me" later in the same verse. Allah speaks of Himself usually in the first person plural "We"; it is the plural of respect and honour and is used in human language in Royal proclamations and decrees. But where a special personal relationship is expressed, the singular, "I" or "Me" is used. Cf. 26:52, Etc. Unquote
His explanatory commentary is unbelievably ignorant because Allah destroys entire peoples unless they believe that Allah is one (S2:255).The following two verses serve as proofs of plurality and destruction:
S43(24) He said: "What! even if I brought you better guidance than that which ye found your fathers following?"They said: "For us, We deny that ye (prophets) are sent (on a mission at all)."
25. So We exacted retribution from them: now see what was the end of those who rejected (Truth)!
Ali’s Commentary
Quote: C4629. The Warner or messenger pointed out the merits and the truth of his teaching, and how superior it was to what they called their ancestral customs. But they denied his mission itself or the validity of any such mission. In other words they did not believe in inspiration or revelation, and went on in their evil ways, with the inevitable result that they brought themselves to destruction. Unquote
S32(26) Does it not teach them a lesson, how many generations We destroyed before them, in whose dwellings they (now) go to and fro? Verily in that are Signs: do they not then listen?
Ali’s Commentary
Quote: C3660. If a nation gone astray could only learn from the history of earlier nations that were destroyed for their evil! They could see vestiges of them in their daily goings to and fro: the Jews could see vestiges of the Philistines, Amalekites, etc. in Palestine, and the pagan Arabs, of the 'Ad and Thamud in Arabia. Unquote
There is no grammatical reason for a “we” in those verses.
The Quran is full of “we”. Allah destroys peoples who worship multiple gods and yet refers to itself in both singular and plural terms. If this Allah were indeed the true God, it should be able to create a respectable singular word meaning an absolute unalterable royal one without plural ambiguity in any language, human or otherwise. Perhaps Allah was bipolar; and was not the founder of the English language? The more obvious question is-and a complete give away to its identity-why does Allah speak respectfully-following Abdullah Yusuf Ali’s logic- to itself? The answer is simple: Muhammad includes himself in the Islamic god. Allah-Muhammad is the true Islamic God.
The second observation is that to mankind is given an Arabic Quran. But the majority of mankind do not speak Arabic nor is there any evidence of a significant portion of any race of mankind enthusiastically learning the Arabic language since the death of Muhammad. The English language is just about everywhere. Perhaps Allah’s plan was for all mankind to have a universal language? Arabic? Perhaps Allah was not aware of the future coming of the English language?
The third observation is that Allah ‘sent no apostle but with the language of his people,’. And that Muhammad was Allah’s last prophet/apostle: S33(40) ‘Muhammad is not the father of any of your men,But (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets:and Allah has full knowledge of all things’.
Therefore those whose language came about after Muhammad, are excluded from islamic evangelism. One of these peoples would, without doubt and without regard to birthplace, be all those whose first mother tongue is English, because this particular tongue wasn’t around at all when Al-Quran was being finalised. Perhaps Allah is not Allah? And Al-Quran is doubtful?
The fourth observation is that Al-quran is a direction to the pious but a proposal unto mankind that they may be warned. Not for everybody. Perhaps Allah is not the lord of all creatures? Did Allah-Muhammad just defeat its own purpose?
The following work is basically a textbook wherein a simple exegetical work may be engaged in but yet for much education. All the quranic verses relative to Jesus are quoted contextually. Thereafter the corresponding biblical verses are quoted in reply. A few observations to guide. No theological discussions. Just plain scriptures.
One Particular Verse
Among the quoted quranic Jesus verses is one particular verse that needs special attention. This verse has been depended on by Islamic scholars to proclaim that Jesus prophesied Muhammad. That verse is S61(6). The biblical cross reference that they claim in support of their dependence is John 14:26; 16:7-14, because Jesus spoke these biblical words.
A complete exegesis of all those quranic verses that islamic scholars importune have biblical backing would require many pages. Here only Jesus’s words will be looked at. Of course this is going a bit off the subject matter but it is necessary to do so to silence any avoidance argument. In other words, some readers might argue that exegesis of these verses were overlooked because they do identify the biblical Jesus with the quranic Jesus.
(6) And when Jesus the Son of Mary said, O children of Israel, verily I am the apostle of God sent unto you, confirming the law which was delivered before me, and bringing good tidings of an apostle who shall come after me, and whose name shall be Ahmad. And when he produced unto them evident miracles, they said, This is manifest sorcery.
The Biblical Verses Depended on
26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgement; 9 about sin, because they don’t believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to my Father, and you won’t see me any more; 11 about judgement, because the prince of this world has been judged.
12 “I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now. 13 However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming. 14 He will glorify me, for he will take from what is mine, and will declare it to you.
Who Is Coming? And When?
Three titles are given here: the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth.
The arrival of the Holy Spirit was after the resurrection of Christ. It is recorded: John 20:18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had said these things to her. 19 When therefore it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were locked where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the middle, and said to them, “Peace be to you.”
20 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad when they saw the Lord. 21 Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.” 22 When he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit! 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, they have been forgiven them. If you retain anyone’s sins, they have been retained.”
What Does Al-quran Say? Gabriel.
Surah 2:(96) Say, Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel (for he hath caused the Qurán to descend on thy heart, by the permission of God, confirming that which was before revealed, a direction, and good tidings to the faithful);
Surah 16(103) When we substitute in the Qurán an abrogating verse in lieu of a verse abrogated (and God best knoweth the fitness of that which he revealeth), the infidels say, Thou art only a forger of these verses: but the greater part of them know not truth from falsehood. (104) Say, The holy spirit hath brought the same down from thy Lord with truth; that he may confirm those who believe, and for a direction and good tidings unto the Muslims.
Surah 26(192) This book is certainly a revelation from the Lord of all creatures, (193) which the faithful spirit hath caused to descend (194) upon thy heart, that thou mightest be a preacher to thy people, (195) in the perspicuous Arabic tongue, (196) and it is borne witness to in the scriptures of former ages.
Exegesis
The Counselor Holy Spirit Spirit of truth was given to the apostles by Jesus soon after His resurrection.
Contradictions run rumpus in Al-quran. According to Al-quran Gabriel is the spirit, not Muhammad. The teaching is brought down by Gabriel from Allah to Muhammad, which means neither Allah nor Muhammad had any direct connection with each other. Jesus, not Muhammad, is called a word and a spirit proceeding from Allah: Surah 4(169) ‘O ye who have received the scriptures, exceed not the just bounds in your religion, neither say of God any other than the truth. Verily Christ Jesus the son of Mary is the apostle of God, and his Word, which he conveyed into Mary, and a spirit proceeding from him.’
Muhammad was lying. He was not prophesied by Jesus. Or better still Allah-Muhammad was lying.
The fact that Jesus says ‘my Father’ in the above quoted John 16 reference is overlooked as are all the quranic verses that forbids the fatherhood of Allah, which same said quranic verses contradicts the Islamic dependence on the presumed biblical cross reference.
Here’s another quranic verse that contradicts the Islamic scholars: Surah 3 ‘(63) Say, O ye who have received the scripture, come to a just determination between us and you; that we worship not any except God, and associate no creature with him; and that the one of us take not the other for lords, beside God. But if they turn back, say, Bear witness that we are true believers.’
The entire biblical scriptures on the Lord Jesus Christ are relationship bond based on his FatherGod. Jesus is Son to his God. And the biblical God is Father to Jesus.

Wrong translation? That means that the Islamic Allah can not look after It's Quran.
DeleteJohn 20:17 is the Las word of son of Mary. He clearly mentioned that he was going back to our Father and his Father. Our God and his God. He didn't mention that he was going back to his father only
