A human lends to Allah? A goodly loan? The purpose of the loan is to fund warfare and to be remitted of sins and to be given a rich reward after death. A wild belief indeed! They say that Islam is a religion of peace. Well, if that be so, then surely friendships would be most necessary. What the Quran teaches Muslims about friendships with those who are not Muslims contradicts the statement of peace. Proof texts are quoted below. The Quran states that it confirms the biblical scriptures. On the subject of the soul of a person, it says that every soul shall die. But the Bible states that man is soil and returns to the soil (Genesis 3:19), the spirit returns to God who gave it and the soul is looked after as well.  The Quran has nil knowledge of the three aspects of a person. Sura 39(1) begins with its usual boasting that this so called revelation is from the mighty and wise God. Reading on, verse 12 says that Muhammad was the first to bow to God in Islam. But in Surat 42- which follows the famaliar boasting pattern as S39- (13) Allah makes known that Muhammad was not it’s first worshipper. That before Muhammad, there was Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus. I suggest that this Allah was a little too busy, and that it forgot what it had earlier revealed to it’s madman. The Quran admits that Jesus had not a human father. And also admits that Mary his mother was a virgin; about a 1500 year old virgin being the sister of Aaron!  But it refuses to say that Jesus was begotten. Immediately after narrating the extraordinary story of the conception of Jesus via a virgin woman, and of the birth of Jesus and, also that Jesus spoke as a baby, the quran states in Surah 19(35) that "It is not befitting To (the majesty of) God That He should beget A son. Glory be to Him! When He determines A matter, He only says To it, "Be", and it is". And so also in Surah 39(4) "Had God wished To take to Himself A son, He could have Chosen whom He pleased Out of those whom He Doth create: but Glory Be to Him! (He is above Such things.) Sura 34 This surat starts off with saying that Allah knows it all as in verses 1 and 2. And then it goes on to show that It knows less than nothing. In an earlier sura 27 Solomon talked with birds and ants. Here the wind is obedient to him. Jinns work for him, implying of course that Solomon could converse with them. Disobedience was punishable by being burnt. And notice how he dies. Two quranic translations are quoted. The 2nd with it's commentary to show a muslim's understanding of the tale being considered. A biblical passage is quoted within the commentary to enhance its authenticity.
